Doctor
It's official. The years of waiting are over. I am done with school FOREVER! Today I got my official notice of graduation in the mail. It said, "Degree Conferred: J.D." It just looked cool. Of course, I've technically been done for awhile, but since I enjoy worrying so much I convinced myself that I probably failed a final and would have to go back to school for another semester. (I seriously deluded myself into worrying about this for over a month). When our grades came out on Friday I was ecstatic to find that I actually did well in all my classes. I can't believe it is really over. I have been asking Garrett to call me "doctor" whenever he thinks about it. :) I guess a lot of you don't know that I first started dreaming about becoming a lawyer when I was in 5th grade and did a mock trial - so the J.D. is a big step for me - passing the bar is the next big one! And that is coming up at the end of February. In fact. I need to get back to my studying. :) Is it ever REALLY over?

CONGRATULATIONS MEGSY!
You can do anything!
Rock on Megan!!!!!!!!!!!!!
J.D. What a beautiful acronym. I just got my M.S. in the mail yesterday! I have been freaking out since September that I forgot to turn in some kind of paperwork or something and that it was never going to come after all that work. Yesterday all of those fears were laid to rest. Congratulations Dr. Welch!

Megan, I remember you in 5th grade and new you were destined to be a real attorney and not just an awesome one in mock trial:) Way to go and best wishes with the bar! Everyone told Jared this, but really, you're probably studying too hard.
